PTFE Teflon® Conveyor Belts Mesh BeltingPTFE coated glass mesh belting can be used within a number of applications but is especially common in the textile drying industry because of its excellent high temperature properties and release characteristics it is ideally suited to withstand the extreme nature of these drying processes. PTFE coated glass mesh belts are also commonplace on screen print dryers. Ideally suited to withstand the high temperatures of UV and IR lamps. PTFE mesh belting is a cost saving solution to wire mesh versions that can be costly and difficult to replace. Often supplied with a metallic clipper style fastener, belts can easily be removed and replaced therefore minimising downtime and saving money. Packaging BeltsThe plastic bag is welded together by heat sealing the film to size by an "L-seal" impulsive wire. The wire is protected from the molten film by a PTFE Teflon glass cloth tape, which prevents the film from sticking to the wire. Once the product is sealed into the bag it is placed on a PTFE mesh or closed weave conveyor belt and carries it into a Shrink Wrap oven which has a high temperature resistant silicone coated glass curtain at the entrance of the oven which prevents heat from escaping. When the package enters the oven the machine applies shrink film tightly around the item being packed. We supply a number of varying styles and sizes of PTFE Mesh conveyor belts used for this type of packaging machine. Click here for quotation |
